We set a goal to raise $30,000; and we will raise $30K. However, it is not important that we as individuals are credited with the donation. We each only need to only raise $2,300 to participate in our 3 Day walk. The additional $27,700 will be donated whether they are donations to me or to others, with your support.
The money to be raised will be tangible…grassroots, where we can name the people that benefit. We will support the fundraising efforts of walkers…to enable those who may not otherwise be able to participate. Some people have heart wrenching reasons for walking; we don’t want anyone to not walk or pull a penny out of their own pocket because they could not raise $2,300. Other beneficiaries will be women and the children of women who are in late stages of breast cancer; whether it is to pay a bill, open a trust, to make another check on a bucket list or do something for their children.
